Located on the western tip of Sicily, between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Strait of Sicily, Trapani offers a charming atmosphere, with landscapes of extraordinary beauty. The configuration of the city to double sickle that juts into the sea, almost to divide the Tyrrhenian from the Mediterranean Sea, gives it the name of “city of two seas”. The old town of Trapani fully reflects Sicily, a land of conquest and a mix of cultures such as Carthaginian and Roman, but also a succession of eras who flaunt their beauty and characterize the different corners of the city with monuments, churches, buildings, fountains and squares that tells us about a glorious past. We will visit the sanctuary of the Annunciation, the Church of Purgatory with groups of statues of the passion of Christ, the Cathedral and the Fish Market.
