Neive is a picturesque village situated in Langhe. Called in dialect "pais dij snioròt" (country of squires) it retains the characteristics of a medieval old town, with its winding streets, churches, elegant palaces and old mansions. The heart of the village is represented by Piazza Italia: it seems a seventeenth century liv-ing room, which overlooks the administrative headquarters of the village. The old Town Hall will attract your attention, because it has a big symbol of the vil-lage under the clock. The offices of the municipality are located on the other side of the square, in an elegant building with a facade in bricks. Other historical memories are represented by the many elegant buildings in bricks like the Pal-ace of the Counts of Castelborgo, the Palace of the Countess Demaria, the Casaforte of the Counts Cotti of Ceres.
